Challenge

Seems the challenge this sem is that there are few teaching loads at CDU. I am only handling 6classes so only 18units. Fortunately I still have 1subject at USC so maka-add n lng pud sa income. Plus my tutor sa silingan...

I want to buy my own computer. Let's see if my budget will do. Good luck Doki! :)

Back to School

We are now back to school after a 2 month break. So far 6 pa ako class but naay possibility nga mahimo 7 coz isplit mn daw ang class/es nga more than 50 na ang enrolment.

At the same time I'm also working on my proposed research for a possible PhD in UU. Right now medyo nidaku na ang scope coz my contact wants me to look at the land market in Philippines man, not just real estate. Wah, good luck to me indeed!!!

I keep the faith lng jud. Always! :)

NBA

The last time I remember that I got hooked to NBA was back in 1990s pa, with Chicago Bulls, LA Lakers and all. Kadugay na diay ato!

The Miami Heat lost yesterday to Dallas Mavericks. It's okay, there will still be a better time in future. Go Heat, go Coach Spo, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, the whole gang --you have my full support!!!

I said goodbye to him but he didn't accept it. Guess I'll just do what I had planned to do, and that is talk to someone else. Who knows di ba???

The Past 2 Weeks

I have been busy since May 15th p.m. Didto ko Tagbilaran to buy Anchor DMC #822 para sa cross-stitch that my sister was working on. I was in Tagbi for only 30mins then uli na. The next day I went to Cawayanan to look for a helper there. Then pag Wednesday I went to Tagbi na pud pacargo sa cross-stitch. It was a nice trip coz I was able to see the hustle and bustle of Tagbilaran Airport. Busy na pud didto oi. Pagka Thursday I sent my aunt to the hospital coz la pa man maayo iya ubo. Monday morning na sya nigawas. Then Tuesday didto na pud mi Tagbi to get an X-ray for my aunt. Then yesterday nibalik mi sa bukid aron ifinalize ang uban nila oldies sa balay. Medyo settled na and she said she'll come to the house ig June 6th.

Whew! It has really been a LONG forthnight. And through it all, I have remained in touch with Steve. Busy pud sya lipat to a cheaper apartment. Talk n lng mi kung kalugar pohon.

BIG STEP

Yes it is a big step to be talking to this Jewish-American. We haven't even met and it's not likely that he'll come here soon. He doesn't want to be rushed into marriage daw. Sure, I understand.

I also don't know anything about the US. I mean, not on a personal level anyway. I know and I read about it but I haven't been there. It's scary to think that I might move there IF EVER we get married.

But still, we have talked about A LOT of things alrdy so if it really doesn't work out then I guess I'd have a friend in him.

Why am I meeting so many Brits??? It all started with meeting Neal Evans, our trainor at CWF. Then I met Nick at WIS. Then it was just other Brits after. Bakit ba???

I just find it ironic considering that I have a connection to Holland. But then, I didn't find a Dutch husband so maybe I am not for them.

Not Him

I have said goodbye to the new guy I met recently. He said he was coming to Asia. I said I'm still busy with school. And I may not want to meet him coz I just met him. He said I'm not serious after all so he lost interest.

I had doubts about him right from the start. Coz his picture in WAYN was different from his pic in YM and Facebook. Friends also told me to be careful, coz he could just be out to fool some girls.

Crazy

I went crazy over the weekend. I said goodbye to Nick. He was just incredulous about the whole thing. He said, "are u jumping from a tall building or something? why are u saying goodbye? that is a bit odd, heide! stop being silly!"... Essentially he just asked me to confide in him whatever it was that was troubling me. I thanked him for being a really nice friend. I can't call him a snob anymore! :)
