He has a PhD Philosophy from the University of San Carlos. Nangregards mn tos Sir Diluvio niya. He used to be the Registrar of SU but I think these days he handles the Grants Management Division. Then an ambassador helped him, put him to school etc. He interviewed me when I enrolled last June 2017. He looked at my TOR. Then I think he called up Dr Enrique Oracion. He said naa ra tawn kuno kos Cebu Doc. Hahah. Wa pa mn cja kahibaw sa istorya gud. Katawa ko kay like so many people his age, he struggled with technology. Getting the Hang of It

Last Friday and Saturday, we finished our presentations for the class of Dr Aileen Rosette Felix on Social Psychology. She's a very young psychologist from NORSU Main. Feel nako early 30s pa siya. Pero giuban n pud. But she was very kind to bring snacks to our class for both days. God bless Mam! We had to submit our book reviews pud and present it in class for Dr Indab's class. Si Sir Jason ra jud tawn for The Republic ang nikaon sa amo entire session. Heheh. Saun, di mn mi ready. Nagyaw2 pud gamay si Mam before nagsugod ang klase. I'm definitely getting the hang of this SU studying thing. Nalingaw na ko bisan kapoy ang magbyahe2 every weekend. Lingaw kaju report ni Sir Renante last Saturday. International Studies

Our International Studies program at CDU is very new. We have 3 tracks --European Studies, American Studies and Asian Studies. I think 3rd batch of graduates pa mi by this year. But datu amo mga studyante bujag oi. Mauwaw lng mi kung baratohon amo mga celfone, wa mi mga sakyanan etc. Heheh, ana mn jud n. Pobre mn jud ang mga maestra ug maestro. Kung gusto mi madatu, dapat adto mis corporate sector magwork. I teach International Economics to our IS students. And lately, research. Kuti kaju amo research office but cge n lng. Stone's Support

Athena once called him good friend from the homeland. Yes, these days I appreciate his support of me too. Especially nga kahibaw sya that I have to do book reviews, ija jud ko ingnan last Saturday nga magbasa lagi kuno. Heheh. Told him I appreciate his support. In response he said "padayon lng diha day". Heheh. Godspeed Stone, hope you could drop by Cebu one of these days. I can't remember anymore the last time I saw him. I think when he was here for a seminar in CNU about the political process last 2013. I remember buying a shirt from Bench then coz di mn nindut ako gisul-ot that day. Very Smart

She must be very smart. Mao ni response ni Deepti when I said a friend's former girlfriend was studying in Oxford and that's how they broke up. Every now and then I look at her profile on FB. She's now married with 2 kids in Hong Kong. HK is their home jud daw. She works for MTR Corp; before sa Cathay Pacific to siya. She's multi-awarded. She used to have a blog but I think she cancelled it. Jia you Doki, don't compare yourself to her. Kanya2 swerte ta in life. Amen.

Bible/Job

I once went to confession sa Basak, Mandaue and in response the priest told me to read the story of Job in the Bible. Kay datu mn gud ni cja di ba, nya gikuhaan siya tanan ni Lord. Iya riches, family, tanan jud. Si Madam Shirley lagi told me to read the Bible everyday in order to be wise according to God's will. In the homily diay today, sa Mabolo mn ko nisimba, the priest said, in the sharing of suffering there is love. Mao daw na reason ngano naay suffering in this world. Melodramatic/melancholic n jud ko ron mga panahona. Apil ba pud kaha nis premenopausal signs and symptoms? Jia you Doki. Basta eat right and sleep right lng jud. Ako gisearch sa internet. Nagpaampon kuno cja ila Rhoderick Requillo ug Mirasol Buli. Tingpista mn gud pud to mao cge ra pud sila lakaw2.. He's back in HK now. Aside from my former student Richard Alfajora, napa jud koy lain gusto makigchat nako this time. Last May 2017 pa na cja right after the first installment to our reunion. Batch mn ta ni silas ako maguwang but nauwahi daw cja mao kabatch na kuno cja namo. Bawo wa jud ko kadumdum nija tawn. Besides, nana ni cjay 17 y.o. daughter but they're not married with the mother of the child. She's married na daw to someone else. Di ganahan nija ako good high school friend. Heheh. He's a warehouse checker in Metro Manila. I dunno about him. Makigchat mn jud. Morag kadtong Probinsyano nga nagshooting sa ilang work site ang sinugdanan. Funny, niingon na to ija sis nga sya kuno motahi sa ako gown. Hahah. Last weekend he said gusto na kuno siya mouli diri. Then I asked him if kaya niya dawaton ang sweldo diri Cebu or Bohol. Dili pa daw. So I told him trabaho n lng syas Manila until sya moretire. Jia you!

EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa)

Mao ni reason nga naupdate amo ATM cards diris Pinas. For added security. Ang ako LandBank ATM has a VISA chip. Yday I claimed my BDO ATM card and I saw that it has a Mastercard chip. But mga debit cards ra mn diay sila. Dili credit cards. Sakto ra pud oi. Coz I terminated all my credit cards n mn lagi ever since I had trouble with it in 2006 when I was in SG. Nahasol pa ako brother ato coz sya may nibayad sa ako HSBC Red Mastercard. Gihasol pud ko Mam Inday when iya gisakyan ako credit card. So never again jud ko ato. Jia you Doki. Research Agenda

I am very proud of the fact that we were able to come up with our department research agenda yday. Kami nila Sir Jam, Mam Fe, Sir Erwin ug Sir Jef nihabol ang naghimo. For the next 5 years na to phn.
