But he was the one who recommended me to CDU jud. He moved to Urios College in Butuan then St. Michael's College in Iligan then CNU before taking up his current post at Cebu City Senior High School. Today 11/12/21 when I opened my computer, I saw an email from Vanessa Ntinu of the LDE GMD Centre https://www.gmdcentre.nl. This is the Centre for the Governance of Migration and Diversity, a consortium between Leiden University, Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University of Rotterdam and ISS. I have been accepted daw oi as a Research Associate. Omg, what a great opportunity. Thanks po Lord! The way I understand all these, I don't have to be in The Hague the whole time. RETIREMENT IN PH

The Philippines does want to have retirees here in the country. We have SRRV gud (Special Retiree Resident Visas). CFC KH 21ST ANNIVERSARY

Last Sunday, CFC Cambodia celebrated their 21st anniversary. I was able to submit a video man so they played it on the first day of plugging. Kami nila Caren Rafallo, Andrew Chua etc. I was able to watch the video of the anniversary celebration only on Monday, 11/8/21. There was a line from the opening worship song that really touched me. It said 'you came to me with kindness' and tiklop n pud ko. Saun ta man. Then today 11/10/21, I saw a rainbow in Jagobiao, Mandaue while I was on my way to the post office to mail my parcel for Endang in Indonesia and a Christmas card to a friend. She is getting married again man gud on Sunday, 11/14/21 in Medan. I would have wanted to go but Indonesia has a 14-day quarantine rule man for those coming from the Philippines. So next time n lng jud phn when pwede n. I have a standing travel fund from Air Asia anyway coz my ticket to SG for June last year was cancelled man. APEC 2021 VOICES OF THE FUTURE

New Zealand is hosting the APEC forum this year. The forum with the youth happened yesterday 11/9 and today 11/10 via a Facebook link. I asked my students to watch it and their task for Thursday is just to give a reaction and say how the 4 agenda can be achieved, to wit - a greener future, international cooperation for covid-19 recovery, a digital future and a future for all. WEBINARS

Nadawat n daw ni Russel last Saturday ang akong little present which I sent to him via LBC last Wednesday afternoon. Today Monday, 11/8/21 at around 2pm I received the documents that I need to submit to CHED. In the morning I attended the webinar of EDCOM headed by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian at 10am. How to make Philippine Higher Education Globally Competitive daw. Then I watched the CFC Cambodia 21st anniversary at 12 noon then 2pm the Inquirer Sustainability Series on Green Growth. Then at 17:15 from LKYSPP on Asia's Uneven Recovery. Whew! Jia you Doki, pagbusy lang gud. God bless us all! ;)

PIQC WEBINAR 11/4/21

Today at 9am there was a webinar about the Visayan society during the Spanish times. Still part of the Philippine International Quincentennial Conference (PIQC) celebrations. Dr Bernardita Reyes Churchill joined it from Washington, DC. Tomorrow there will be another webinar at 9am. I will join till my class at 1030am. Jia you to us all! I connected to Ms Elaine Justine Aldaya with the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu and Dr Jose Buenconsejo who studied at UH at one point. Si Miss Kinna Mae Kwan also had a very interesting presentation about the ancient Visayan art of tattoing (pintados or patik or batik as they say in Indonesia). She is known for her work diay with the White Russians who were anti-communists and came to Guiuan, Eastern Samar in the past. Anyway, looking forward to the session tomorrow. Then upon arrival here in Cebu, those with vax cards from Bohol were asked to fill up the entry protocol form. Baleng gamaya pud sa vax cards sa Bohol oi. Wallet size ra. While ang diris Cebu kay halos half lagis short bondpaper. Mapaypay p gud lagi nimo if igangon kas pila. But as of Nov 1, 2021 morag lesser restrictions n lagi daw sa Bohol Tua puy effort ang Dept of Tourism nga ilibre ang swab test. Encouraged to travel n lagi ang mga tawo, esp for those fully-vaxxed.
