But ang ticket lagi to the USA tawn oi, kinsay mobajad? MY LBC PARCEL AND XMAS CARD ARE HERE

Today, I received a msg from the letter carrier in Tubigon that naabot n lagi daw ang Christmas card ni Edward Venuti. Salamat kaju and God bless you. I told him to forward it to my sister in MDC Senior High School. I received a text msg pud from LBC that the parcel that my sister sent last Friday 10/20/23 is here n daw and that they will try to deliver it today. Timing kaju kay nangajo si Sir Joel Ubaldo lagi ug ref magnet kunos Bohol. Then si Kuya Guard nga Bisaya pud basin tagaan pud naho ug keychain. Si Mam Kristine pud. I plan to give them as bday presents p actually. Jia you Doki and jia you to us all! ;)

NUEVA ECIJA

There is a jeepney service too from Tabang (Pulilan man cguro n crossing) to Gapan. Then from Gapan, of course accessible ra pud ang Cabanatuan. Then I checked CLSU kung asa. He is my co-participant at ISS in the year 2000 to 2001. He was doing PADS; I was in ARD. Actually ECD man ta to ang suitable program for me. I got scared lng lagi of Econometrics maong I ended up applying (and got accepted) to the ARD program. The late Carolyn Espinosa once told me that sayang lagi daw nag ARD ko. I didn't get to interact much with them daw. We were classmates man in INT 107 b to which is Microeconomics of Development with Dr Arjun Bedi. Kami nila Ivan ug Moi man lagi ang nag enrol didto. Actually namatay nas Carolyn last year. Jia you to us all and aloha! ;)

LBC PARCEL TO NU

Y'day 10/19/23 sa hapon, gipada n ni Nang Anel ang ahong parcel via LBC. Giapilan kuno to nija ug mga keychain from Bohol (about P400 total). She said she paid P1,020. I intend to give them as bday gift pohon. I sent her P2k coz nibayad man pud xas tubig nga P560 + 15 charge and I asked her to pay P1k for HOA. I sent her P500 previously so P500 ijang share sa ahong parcel lagi. 5 to 7 days p daw to coz by sea daw tungod sa ahong Samsung fone. Medyo dugay p but okay n kaju para na'koy ilis-ilisan lagi pohon. I bought a new pair of shoes at P352.00 but huot man oi. Morag gusto ko mobalik n lng sa ahong green shoes. Bahala ug mapal-utan ko lagi; ang importante dili guot ang entrance to my shoes. I ended up buying a new pair of black shoes y'day afternoon at SM. I paid P950.00. Bahala n lng. RIP, FR. ROD

Last Monday, 10/16/23, I heard the news that our former USC president, Rev. Fr. Roderick Salazar Jr, SVD passed on. Ugma pohon at 3pm daw ang iyang funeral mass. Tuas Christ the King seminary ra ang iyang haya ug didto ra daw pud siya ilubong. Sayang di ko kaadto kay tua mi Zoom meeting ugma pohon sa buntag and I also want to catch up on my students' submissions. Kay medyo daghan n lagi; naningil n silas ilang scores kunos submissions. May you rest in peace, Fr. Rod. Salamat kaayo for all the example you showed us sa USC. We will always keep you in our hearts. Aloha po!

CABUYAO, LAGUNA

Tua man diay sa Mamatid, Cabuyao, Laguna sila Juvyann. Tuo ko'g Cavite sila jud. So duol2 ra diay siguro n sila ug bay ni Uncle Boy Andamon. Retire n man kuno sija diay. Death anniversary ni Papa ang October 30 pohon, Barangay and SK Elections this year, so mangita jud ko ug simbahan ana lagi ug mag-offer. OCTOBER 28, 29, 30 POHON

These days will be long weekend diay kay barangay elections kuno ang October 30 pohon which is my dad's death anniversary. Basin mobisita ko nila Juvyann or Uncle Boy this time. Pwede pud si Butch n lng sa San Fernando. Depends n lng. Tua p man koy Zoom meeting lagi ig Saturday October 28 sa buntag. Kanang panahona n man jud lagi ang na-allocate for our possible linkage activities. Interesado ra ba si Dai Jianzhong from Nanjing China kay he just retired kuno so he would have the time to possibly work with us. All the best to us always!

MALE FRIENDS (CLAUDIUS, TOMS, GREG)

The three of them indicated their willingness to work with us. But only one showed up in our Zoom this morning. Si Dr Claudius Preville ra. Bless him and his loved ones. He is in Nepal man daw as of the moment doing work for the UN. Kataw-anan kaju kay si Mam Jenny Rose Naval kay morag bag-ong mata p lagi. So kadyot ra jud siya kaju nag-open sa iyang camera. Then kami ray nagstorya ni Claudius lagi. We can do it again kuno next Saturday coz our dean and si Mam Brenda didnt make it. Si Toms pud was on unexpected travel daw pud. SEATTLE 2024

Morag na'nay chance ang Seattle in March 2024 pohon. Because Dean Reggie introduced me to the focal person in our Research Management Office, Dr. Linda Valentino b to ijang name. She said if non-Scopus daw n nga conference, P30K daw ang support sa university. But if Scopus, P50K daw. Wow, san k p di b? I pray for the best. Ang Bangkok ig June 2024 pohon, magneed p man ug isa k paper daw. So si Doc Regz n kuno ijang itulod lagi. Okay po. Then ang Singapore nga hackathon, bisan taga senior high school n lng lagi namo kay morag maoy mobagay. Though okay ra gud pud kung college ilang isend. The student government gave us notepads diay yesterday on top of the gifts they gave us last week. Sus, busy kaju mi diris NU Baliwag Bulacan lagi. But keri ra. Wala man koy weekends so I can devote my Saturdays to the possible linkages that Doc Regz would like to do. Or I can also use it to explore my new locality. Salamat po Lord for all blessings always. SEAMEO SPAFA BKK 2024

Yesterday 10/9/23, I received email that the panel I proposed was accepted for presentation in the above conference. Wow, salamat po Lord. Kami nila Sir John Ouano and Mam Lorylie Crisostomo lagi ani nga panel. But they are gonna need 4 papers daw for a panel to be viable. So magtry mi'g pangita ug isa. But if wa n jud mi makit-an, isagol n lng kuno mis ubang panels pohon. I have decided to slow down oi kay di pwede nga busy lng ta kanunay. But Jacy said take vitamins lng daw. So okay po. Salamat kaju Lord. All praise and honor and glory be to You. Amen po and aloha! ;)

NU BULACAN

I am now at National University (NU) Baliwag, Bulacan campus. It is owned by SM man lagi so naa ras mall complex ang ilang eskwelahan. I arrived here from Clark International Airport last Sunday 10/1/23 sa gabii, mga 8pm. My dean fetched me at the airport. Iyang sister gihimong driver. I would have wanted to meet with my cousin Butch Regis but wa mi magkasinabot sa iyang bana so wa ko nadajon ug tulog didtos ila. Sakto ra pud kay medyo laju ang San Fernando from Clark. Morag Mabalacat and Angeles tong lugara dapit lagi. Anyway, they treated me to dinner at SM Clark then they dropped me off to sleep at Sogo Hotel Dau. I slept till about 8am. Giadto ko ni Butch, ngaon mis MacDonald's and she sent me off to the van terminal in Dau. The trip was about 45 minutes only. I arrived here in NU at around lunchtime. I stayed lng sa HR Office the whole afternoon. Didto n pud ko gipatulog nila Sir Alvin Paulion sa Green Haven Court in Pulilan, Bulacan. The next day I came to NU Baliwag n pud wearing my Holland t-shirt and favorite green pants. He introduced me to the people in the campus. He also told me about the dress code of the school. In the evening, I moved in at the 2nd floor of apartments at the back of Violago Plaza. So didto n ko natulog. I stay in the apartment unit with 2 very lovely NU students; sila Kyla Madio and Hershey Traballo. Kyla is taking up Architecture in our school while Hershey is taking up Marketing Management. I went to my classes n last Wednesday 10/4/23. 7am gaklase n ko diris NU Baliwag but till lunchtime ra ahong klases lagi. Asynch n ko in the afternoon. Di ra man ko kabantay that 5pm n kay busy lagis school. Last Saturday 10/7/23 I finished my presentation for the JustRemit and sent it to them. I have decided that sa Saturday n lng mi ni Sofia magtutor kay puno lagi tawn ahong skedyul oi. God bless us always. Aloha! :)
