Refresher Course

I am excited for the ISS Refresher Course due to take place at UP Diliman on 23 October to 4 November. Actually it has a sidetrip to Tagaytay for a few days so that's what I'm really excited about. But as life would have it, I have MANY things to do first before I can go there. Himo pa ko grado and after that, pwede na lupad! All the best to me! On this refresher course, I met Henky Widjaja, Agapitus Haridhanu and Endang Lestari from Indonesia. Si Madon and Mam Jessica Uy pud were also participants of this course. I met Teresa Jopson and Josephine Sanchez diay pud in this course oi, as well as Kaira Alburo and Regina Estorba-Macarandang. Sila Loes Keysers and Jeanette Pocock man ang leaders for this course. One Sunday, they treated us to lunch at Sonya's Garden in Tagaytay and we had a tour of Taal Church in Batangas also at the end of this course while we were on our way back to Manila. I remember that I gave money at this time for Biboy's educational field trip to the South of Metro Manila. Mao ni panahona nga gihurot jud kuno nija ang mga rides sa Enchanted Kingdom. Small World

We know some or a few people in common coz it's a small world. But why are we not in touch??? I am not in touch with those guys anymore for my own reasons. Now what's gonna happen to me??? Good luck, Doki! :)

Oregon State

After a thorough look at universities in Oregon, I found Applied Economics program in Oregon State. Wow. I plan to apply for next year pohon but I asked them if I still have to do the GRE. Lisud mn gud and mahal pud.

I'm gonna wait till the end of this month though for Prof Falter's decision, UniGe. I pray for the best. Asa lng gd ko ibutang sa Ginoo. God bless us!

Moping

I realized last night that I have actually been moping all this time. And for what? Coz some guys didn't like me. I realized that I can't do anything abt it. If they don't like me then I just have to move on. Good luck to me!

Portland, OR

I saw how beautiful it is in the movie we watched at school, "Extraordinary Measures". But my problem is that I have never set foot in the US so I cannot totally relate....

Face to Face

Now I understand the importance of two people who are dating seeing each other everyday. Coz it's really very different if you're just talking on the computer and he's even so far away from you (15hrs is our time difference). He said we need to take a break. I agreed and told him to email me in a week or two if he still wants to talk to me. Good luck to us then....

Bye for Now?

I pushed him on what he plans to do with his life. He got angry, he said I used force in order to meet my needs and reassurances. Well, it was all so frustrating so I said goodbye to him. Asked him to email me in a week or two if he still wants to talk to me.

Stress

Last week was very tough for me. I ended up giving up my tutor with the kids coz it was just so hard to do. Kapoy magcge'g dali2 pauli from USC. Nauwanan p jd ko last week that's why I have cough and cold. But it's getting better, it should be gone soon.

Stressful week sad for Steve. He said he gave up the security guard job so he has no money and no place anymore to live. Actually he found some temporary housing, thank God. Please help him to find a good job, Lord. Soon. And a job that he loves. I trust You to take care of things. Amen.

Trust

I told him that I want to trust him. He called me on the YM then we continued to chat.

He said call him lng daw if ever there's something that comes up. Stop making excuses daw. Yah coz we're in 2 different locations, we are 15hrs apart.

Work

It was his bday last Tuesday, same sila bday sa ako bro. And last Thursday he told me that he found a fulltime job. Wow, I'm really happy with all these developments. I'll just have to hang on then. Matter of time... "The Pursuit of Happyness"
