Biboy's Adjustment

Since niuban mn namo uli si Biboy last 22 October, I helped him out in his readjustment to life in Tinangnan. It took abt 2-3wks pd for it. Mostly because la mn gd klase pag Nov 1 and 2, la makompleto ang iya 1st wk in Tinangnan again. I even sneaked home on Nov 7 and 8 kay gihilantan mn sya. Then pagka-Sunday Nov 11, nagkaistorya na siya sa iya Mama and Papa via FB mao okay na sya. Last Monday, 19 Nov the three of us went to Tagbilaran. Nalingaw ra pd sya didto... God bless us always!!!

No More :(

Morag di na exciting ang ako Christmas this year. Di na man daw madayon to ako mga bisita unya.. Hay buhay! :( Keep the faith lang Doki. Moabot ra lagi daw na when you least expect it... Happy Monday everyone!!!

Activities October 2012

I was in Manila from 18 to 22 October. I went with my mom. She tagged along when she learned that I was going coz she wanted to see her grandsons. She stayed with my sister while my other sister and I went transient in Intramuros... I had to attend the proposal hearing of a student at U A & P who got me as external reader for her thesis. It went very well, and after the hearing I went to dinner with Stone and Byron at Lemongrass in EDSA Shangri La. On Saturday 20 October we went for a very quick trip at the Pink Sisters in Tagaytay. It was fun, I got to see another side of Tagaytay... On Sunday 21 October, I went around Intramuros very quickly, went to mass at Adamson, had lunch with my family then met up with good friend Joy at Bonchon in SM City Manila. We had a lot of catching up, twas nice! Then it was time to get ready to go back to Cebu... We arrived back in Cebu around 845am on Monday 23 Oct. My nephew came with us. I got busy again coz Ate Jing was returning to Cambodia. She arrived on 14th October by the way, around 1020pm... We sent her off at the airport on Wed 24 Oct. Then on Thu 25 Oct I got busy again for my brother's passport renewal. Namingaw lng ang Palm Heights on Friday 26 Oct when my mom and nephew went home to Bohol... Good luck to us all!!

DLSU?

In passing, my good friend from NUS Dr. Rica Sauler asked me last night if I want to work in La Salle. Heheh. I dunno, let's see. I was supposed to come for interview with them back in 2009 but I didn't go. I was still loyal with USC then. This time I think I'm quite ready to move but let's see if they'll accept me. I keep the faith!

Crazy Christmas?

Someone New

I met someone on OKCupid.com the night of the earthquake. He's from Iligan but he works in a coal mining plant in the island of Semirara, in Antique. He said meet mi in December but I'm not anymore sure if madayon pa ba. Electrical Engineering daw iya nahuman. When I checked online, I learned that he just passed the board exam last April. Hmmm, does that mean he's new in the job? I hope not. I pray for the best na lng. Okay pa naman sana sya. But only time will tell... Good luck Doki. Keep the faith!

KL

For the past 3wks or so, my sister and I were talking of how to get to KL. I found her a job there but then my contact wanted her to fly in as tourist. I had doubted that she would pass through immigration so I thought of accompanying her to KL in mid-October during our sembreak. As it is, wala na ang chance. They were interviewing candidates n mn daw. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Maybe something better would come. I just keep the faith!

Another Quake

We had another quake last night. Twas magnitude 7.9 daw near the epicentre which is Guiuan, Eastern Samar. Here in Cebu City, twas intensity 5 kuno. Just like last February. But I really felt it this time so it made me dizzy. Tuo ko'g mapasok na kos ilawm sa yuta. But other than that, I'm okay. God bless us all!!

Another Visitor :)

I had my latest visitor to Cebu last Friday and Saturday. She's Ms Myra Ramos from Trinity University of Asia in Manila. She came to CDU to do some research on Filipino nurses... I showed her around the city. We even went to Mactan Shrine last Saturday morning... She's my 5th visitor to Cebu since I came home in 2010. Wow! God bless us all!!!

Bubble Tea

On 1 August 2012 I emailed him that I don't want to meet up with him anymore if ever I return to PP to visit or to work there again. Nauwaw mn gd ko that ako sya giaway2 abt that S'pore Kitchen thing nga la nadayon so I thought di n lng makigkita nya. He got angry with me. Why daw ako pa to gihandum ang mga panghitabo from many years past. Tinuod mn pd, coz I don't want to be hurt again. Ako n lng sya ingnan I wish him all the best. Baw n lng when pa ko kaadto PP ani. Really hope it will be in summer next year. Jia you, Doki! I emailed him recently abt planning to visit in summer next yr. Gimingaw n mn gd ko didto. It's been 2yrs na gd since I went home. Sabot na mi to meet for bubble tea or something. I said informal n lng mi coz I don't want to sit in a restaurant anymore. He called me a 'strange' girl. Haha, definitely an improvement from the 'crazy Filipina' that I was once called. :) I pray for the best. Good luck to us always!!!

Married

I do need to put this down. A few days ago Nev told me that he got married last June 18th to the Chinese playwright. Wahh, why did it have to be this date? This is significant to me coz 4yrs ago I met Nick at the CWF entrance. This was when Ate Jing and I went to look at his apartment... Anyway, I guess they're really destined for each other. They were engaged once but they broke up. It's only recently that he went to China to see her again. I wish them all the best!

Goodbye AK

So soon Steve's gonna be leaving Anchorage. He doesn't like it there. Reminds me of myself back in 2009. I went to Legazpi to work in Fr Jovic's microfinance business. I only lasted four months, I went home in May... Guess this is what he and I have in common --we're both on this journey. I dunno if we'd ever get to our destination. Who knows???
