PSA National Conference

I had a successful participation at the PSA National Conference at the National Museum in Manila last week. I was very fortunate that Ingko Lopoz hosted me. Hatid sundo pa gud tawn ko nija. But hmmm, Sir Kim Sarong even beat me. Didto cjas Intl Conference of Basic Laboratory Services ba to sa Firenze, Italy. Cge lang Heide, nakasuroy2 n mn k before. Time to get to work. Makahabol pa ka. Jia you! I met Cleve Arguelles there. He's a very young academic from UP Manila. Friends sila Leeyaj and friends pud sila Risa Jopson. Chat n mi Risa and Leeyaj about him. I met Meah Ang See there too. She's the manager of Bahay Tsinoy and the daughter of Teresita Ang See. Wow! Incidentally, the next ICOPHIL conference will be in Alicante, Spain kuno in 2020. Magnaning ko to present a paper there and hopefully I can find a sponsor. I keep the faith always.

Mr Pok Saveth (+)

Today I sent our group pic to Teacher Shirley. She said he has gone to heaven na daw. I am sad. Coz he was like a father to me in WIS. I had wanted to see him the last time I visited. But I think he had a meeting so I left my dried mangoes present at his table n lng. God bless you, Mr Saveth. Rest in peace po.

Typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut)

I must say that I got a reprieve in my studies due to this very strong typhoon last weekend. Next weekend na lng kuno amo klases. Meantime, I have to work on my research proposal coz due na unta for submission ang first draft this week. Cge lang Doki. Kaya na nimo tanan. Amen.

Angel Espiritu III

He was our former student sa USC Econ. His brother was a student sa PolSci. Morag half-Canadian pud ni sila. Naa sa DFA nagwork ila papa, morag consul or ambassador before. Over the years, we've kept in touch. He left for Enderun Colleges in Manila around 2007 when Ace Durano was Dept of Tourism secretary. I didn't hear from him for a while now. Today 9/11/18, after sending my chapter 1 yet again to Dr Ora, he messaged me on FB messenger. Naa n diay kuno syas Universidad de Manila ron or City College of Manila. Nya consultant daw xas DepEd pud. Cge Angel, nice to hear from you. God bless and more power! ;)

Cousin Mike's Blessing

There was a time when someone was occupying my heart. I was always pining for KH. Then suddenly someone else took over. Then another one. So question now is, asa n mn jud ko ani oi? PSA National Conference

I plan to attend the Philippine Studies Association (PSA) National Conference at the National Museum in Manila on Sept 26-28 phon. Actually I booked my ticket alrdy. Hope makasuroy na jud kos National Museum this time. Jia you Doki!

Aloha

Hawaii is called the Aloha State. It is a group of islands in the Northern Pacific area, west of Japan. From Manila to Honolulu, 10 hours pud ang byahe oi. Bantil at the US Embassy

Kaduha na jud tawn nadeny si Bantil for visa interview at the US Embassy. I tried to warn her to apply again after 6 months, go mn jud cja. Cge lang coz my cousin Mike is willing mn pud nga makabisita jud cja didto phn. If not for his wedding then at a later date lng kuno. Cge, jia you to us!
