This must be a day to remember. At 9am I was in a webinar organised by ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute of Dr. Michael Green, renowned scholar on US-Japan affairs on the US Indo Pacific Economic Framework. He is the head of the US Center on Strategic Studies b to in Sydney. Then suddenly at around noontime, I heard the news of the assasination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Nara. He was campaigning for a candidate daw in Nara, Japan for the Upper House elections on July 10th. Tsk tsk, I'm sure the world has lost a truly great leader. Good morning to us all and aloha!

HALLMARK MOVIES JULY 7, 2022

I have watched 2 Harkmall movies on Youtube so far: the 1st one was about 2 people who knew each other from high school. They met again when they both have toy companies already etc etc. The second one was about 2 people n pud who knew each other from culinary school in Switzerland and then they meet again via a cooking contest etc. Pastilan! The 3rd one I will finish soon. It involves hiking; the guy is an Aussie named Joey and the other guy is named Colt. Heheh. Basta, I'm sure magswitch ni sila ug partners ani sa ending sa movie.

I received email man lagi of 4 topics that the LDE Centre GMD is planning to apply for funding daw for Horizon Europe 2023/24. I signified interest sa 2 (migration research and housing) and wala n lng sa other 2. Puros democracy n mn gud lagi to sila. And since nibawos man si Prof Peter Scholten nga dili sya pwede, nibawos n lng pud ko nga wala koy experience leading a research on migration. Si Maartje v/d Woude ang nisignify nga molead phn. Magmeeting daw mi online oi to discuss what we can do. Nigulong n pud ang email sa housing research. Magmeet n daw pud mi online lagi pohon. Sus intawn ang echoserang frog nga si Kulasa lagi. Itoy2 ra jud tawn ko ani nila lagi kay pwera bujag lagi ilang mga credentials ug research records, Lord. Mauwaw ko but gihatag man ni nimo nako Lord so naa jud rason ang tanan lagi di b? TCW, MIGRATION RESEARCH

Pwede n ko ato makaadto ug Japan phn lagi kung pwede n. Intawn si Kulasa, nagsalimuang n pud ang huna2. Hahah. Anyway, medyo nigulong n mn ang migration research kay nibawos n mn si Prof. Peter Scholten lagis email about the calls for Horizon 2023/24. Nibawos n lng pud ko nga wala p ko kalead ug migration research before but daghan jud lagi nga health care migrants giproduce ang CDU and that there are so many other migrants p jud from the Philippines. I just said inform us n lng for the next steps moving forward from here. Ako n pud giemail si Dr. Matthew Hoye nga di n lng ko attend in person sa conference lagi in October phn kay impractical kaju considering nga mahal n lagi kaju ang air tickets due to the Ukraine crisis. SIR VLAD, LETTING GO

He is my good friend and colleague jud. During the pandemic he was our chair from August to December 2020. Pag January 2021 till now kay si Mam Jehanne Macarimbang n man lagi ang among chair sa Socsci. He told me last week nga di daw pakamatyan ang CDU kay minimum ra daw ilang support nako. Well, tinuod. Unsa may kabangkaagan ana nila lagis academic work? Nga syllabus may ilang gipakadak-an instead of research. Sakto si Sir Vlad. Makakita gani ko ug nindut nga opportunity pohon. Biyaan ko jud ng CDU lagi. But the thing is my return service for my studies. Well, since naglockdown in 2020, 3 subjects to akong gidala and morag last sem from February to May ra jud lagi ko nihandle ug 12 units. This time I have 1 summer klas pud. Ig August lagi daw phn, if back to teaching full time n lagi daw ko. Di n lng daw sila mohire ug bag-o kay ako n lng daw patudluon. Jia you to us all and aloha! :)
