CONTRACT OF SERVICE (COS)

Sus, naglikay2 man ko ani lagis DA RFO 7 nga work unta nga Business Development Officer and Marketing Specialist broached to me by Dr Gerry Avila. Mao ra man japon akong gidangatan sa CTU Main Campus. But at least naa lagi kesa wala. Kung unsa gani, pwede ra man pud nako adtoon tong Rizwoods College Inc. lagis Cabreros St, Cebu City near SM Seaside ig August pohon. Isa2 lng sa ko ani lagi kay nag-usab man ko ug work environment. This is only my 3rd day gud and yet it feels like forever. So essentially I have 4 preparations this semester: Ethics, TCW, TEM (The Entrepreneurial Mind) and PIC (Philippine Indigenous Culture). Sayon ra ang tulo lagi, ang Ethics jud maoy first time p naho ug teach. Magtuon jud ko ani lagi and morefer sa Youtube videos ni Sir Raymund Silot. Salamat kaju Sir, aloha! :)

33 UNITS

Sus, this morning 3/27/23 I inquired with Mam Mizzy the CTU SocSci Chair kung unsa nay update sa akong application lagi. Wow, it was successful buyag. And she gave me 33 units oi. 4 subjects tanan: TCW, Ethics, TEM (The Entrepreneurial Mind), ug Philippine Indigenous Culture (PIC). Morag need jud ko magtuon p lagis Ethics nga klas. But sige lang, laban lang jud lagi! Ang importante is nakasulod ug nakasugod lagis SUC :) Di p jud siya mosugot nga akong igiveup tong Sunday nga klas kay wala n lagi daw makatudlo. Pwede ra man daw to modular pud. Okay po, anyway alternate man ang ilang sked nga online ug in-person. Naay every week; tua pud every 2 weeks. Kat-onon ko p tong akong sked ug maayo lagi. INTER NATIONS

I have decided to back out of the Cebu City community but still be active as a member. Secretariat n lng ko lagi. I know man gud that Ma'am Ludy can organize the events very well. Kapoy pud mag-organize lagi kay gasto kajus panahon ug kwarta. So backseat n lng ko and attend n lng lagi ko as member pohon. I can maintain the directory as well as GC on Messenger for the group but si Mam Ludy doesn't need to confer with me for the next events. So I think it will work out very well ra. Tua n gani new member to Cebu nga nikontak nako. Si Tristan Toriaezu who is French/Indonesian. Good morning to us all and aloha! :)

GOING PLACES

Di matabang oi, my LinkedIn profile viewers are from different places n man buyag. Hahah. Diha toy taga SBM Offshore, an oil company in the Netherlands. Then just this afternoon, diha n daw pud taga 5 Gyres Institute which is an organization that tackles plastic pollution in the USA and taga Voices of Asia pud which is based in Singapore. Diha pud author kuno at Amazon plus taga UNU Institute for Environment and Human Security that's based in Bonn, Germany. Huh, kinsa man kaha to oi? Well, padayon n lng si Dokiliza kanunay. HAPPY LEARNING ACADEMY IN LILOAN, CEBU

I was scheduled for interview with them at 1pm today, 3/23/2023. But I went there early so mga 9am nag-interview n ko lagi. Sus, akong former student sa Econ 11 uy nga Psyc major ang ni-interview nako. Si MC Narvasa. Bag-o p daw pud siya didto diay. They are an English language school located in Tanglad 2, Cotcot, Liloan. Unahan ra gamay sa Liloan Poblacion, atbang sa eskina sa Nature's Spring agion. But on my way there gitawagan kos Rizwoods lagi. On my way back, nichat pud nako ang CTU. Di n cguro ko madayon didto. I'm happy to have seen MC Narvasa again. Morag 2017 p lagi daw mi last nagkita. Let's pray for the best always. Aloha!

FRIDAY, MARCH 24, 2023

Wow, this was a very busy day indeed! Design hearing today sa akong students lagis Dumaguete. Sus, nibrownout btaw diris Palm Heights at around 1130am. Napugos ko'g adtos CTU oi. From 130pm I had my job interview with CTU via Zoom and 4 man diay mi applicants so 3pm n mi nahuman. Wa n gud ko kaapil sa hearing nila Larrace and Avegail. I gave my comment n lng on Avegail's paper and I asked Larrace to collate the comments on her paper. Then from 630 to 830pm ang Inter Nations event sa 1521 Bistro+Bar sa may Sykes area. Twas a success! I met 8 more lovely souls tonight, mostly expats. Tua n gani mi GC sa Messenger and I've come up with our directory too as a group. I suggested the next activity n pud for next month. Pahuway ko today 3/25/23 oi, afternoon n ko mogawas for Nang Anel's money as well as for PDFNI fee and offer sa SVD. Next Saturday n pud mi kita ni Mam Ophel pohon. I think I will be paid pud for the design hearings nila Larrace and Avegail. Sa 30 or 31 p siguro nga payday mareflect. I'm happy baya with my pay lagi Lord that I saw on March 23, 2023 afternoon. Wala mi klase today sa akong MBA klas coz I asked them to attend the webinar man lagi last 3/22/23. I asked them for a reaction paper for it. Aloha Saturday to us all, go go go! ;)

RIZWOODS

I received a text message late in the afternoon y'day that for interview n lagi kuno ko nila this Monday morning pohon. Sa Cebu City nga campus daw ko, sa may Cabreros St, Mambaling. Near St Anthony Mother and Child Hospital kuno. I looked in the map, morag duol sa SM Seaside lagi. If I am not mistaken, apil ni silas Univerity of Cebu (UC) system. Basta nindut ang sweldo lang lagi Lord and naay opportunities to grow, of course I'll accept the job offer. Ayusin Nyo n lng po ang lahat. Amen. I searched my email, niapply diay ko as Research Teacher with them back in February, on 2/18/23 to be exact. Wow! Morag they have a campus in Liloan and in Lapulapu City too. God bless us all n lng agi. Amen.

KL AGAIN?

I've been watching videos from WeAreOcampo on their latest trip, to KUala Lumpur, Malaysia (KL, MAS). Maybe it is worth visiting again. My last trip there in October 2017 was described as 'epic fail' gud ni Sir Max coz hapit man ko ato wa kauli lagi. Swerte n jud kaju ko lagi that my good friend Sunil in Qatar bailed me out. Anyway, nice man kaju ang Malaysia diay. Nice tong Melaka that they featured. Didto pud silas Genting Highlands. Ang latest video nila was of the Chocolate Kingdom. I looked in the map; duol ra xas KLCC. I stayed in Chinatown KL before. This time I just have to plan it well so that maenjoy nako ang tour lagi. Jia you Doki, aloha Sunday. Go go go!

EXTERNAL CAMPUSES

The story of today: Northwestern University in Qatar and University of Nottingham in UK, China and Malaysia. So di n lng pud ta matinga lagi if in future naa n nya pud Manila campus ang other reputed universities outside the country. Go go go! :)

HEARING NA!

On the email, my thesis advisee Larrace Suelto from Dipolog City said that magdesign hearing n daw siya this Friday, March 24 pohon. I think madala niya coz gamay n mn lng kuwang sa iyang proposal lagi. I asked her to reorder ra man some of the research questions, write the methodology in paragraph form, add references and timetable of activities, insert page numbers. Add Table of Contents p? Makaya ra to niya pohon. Go go go! I just realized that this is my first time to be thesis adviser at MBA level man diay. (Coz ako may adviser nila AJ, Kerry, Neil etc before sa CDU-IS program). Mao diayng excited pud ko for her study pohon. Plus I'll be paid pud during the hearing. Heheh. Hopefully matakdan or mosunod pud iyang klasm8s lagi. Go go go, aloha Friday! :)

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Naa ra jud siguro opportunity for me in this field. Nice kaju ang DENR program this morning on Women in Conservation. And I was able to respond pud to the contact request of this certain Justin Thompson, an environmental activist from Ohio, USA. I added and msgd him on LinkedIn already. I replied to his message too in The Economist's Sustainability Summit at the end of this month. Gusto daw siya makigcollaborate lagi. Of course, why not? Napun-an akong contacts. Salamat po Lord. DUBAI

Today I saw this video from Sir Perry Fajardo's FB about the amazing growth in Dubai since the 1960s. And I also learned that Chef JP Anglo has a new restaurant there called Kooya which he opened in February last year. So there must be really something about the Middle East. If I'm not mistaken, tua man gud didto ang 2nd largest concentration of Filipinos overseas. The highest being the USA of course. The primary reason is the oil and gas industry jud. The first Filipinos arrived in KSA gud kuno as engineers in the 1970s. They were the ones who built the highways and buildings there daw. Based on what I read, the Arabian embassy in Manila issues about 100,000 visas daw every year. Pero there are a lot of Filipinos who are illegally staying in KSA and in the rest of the Middle East of course. It's not all a bed of roses as expected. I told Sunil n diay of my news. Seems like only y'day when Boy Abunda aired his interview with Liza Soberano last week. And tomorrow Friday n pud lagi. I have a class on Saturday kay wala man sila kaapil sa webinar. Sa March 22 pohon I asked them to join a webinar. I said if dili sila sugtan sa ilang bosses, then of course we'd just have to find an alternate activity. Jia you to us all! ;)

DOMESTIC WORKER

My ISS batchmate Nelia told me that being a private tutor in KSA would mean that I'm a domestic worker daw so she suggested that I apply to schools abroad. I did just that this afternoon. Syaro sa 12 k applications lagi as Business and Economics teacher at various international high schools abroad, wala jud mobawos ato! So tan-awn n lng lagi ni kung asa jud ko mapadpad.
