HUOA OKINAWAN FESTIVAL 2023

Since Labor Day in the USA is this Monday, time n diay pud sa Hawaii United Okinawa Association Festival. It is the largest cultural festival man jud lagi daw in Hawaii. It will be back in person kuno lagi this year and will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center. Btw tonight, my colleague and good friend Mr Vladimer Manloloyo msgd me on Messenger that nihawa n pud kuno siya lagis CDU. Pero ako daw iyang girefer to the SHS Principal nga si Madam Ria Alcantara. Baw lagi kung ila b kong dawaton nga di man PolSci akong background lagi. And I thought I'm on my way lagi to landing an online job kay 2 interviews n gud ko lagi ig Monday 9/4/23 pohon. My second cousin in Tennessee, Ate Lita Apillanes Lukey, once told me that wala lagi daw communication niya ang guy for like 8 months. Si Mam Shirley Sisante posted on Facebook that she is travelling to Greece. I wish her all the best and safe travels always! I want to say something about the ESL job, Lord. I submitted an abstract for their national conference in Zamboanga in November pohon. Nadawat n man ta tong akong paper about urban gardening in Cebu City. When I confirmed my online presentation, uy, nagbago man ang ihip ng hangin. I was asked to revise my abstract. They are looking for my methodology daw and key findings. Tua p koy presentation oi for the JustRemit conference in Holland in mid-October pohon. Suwaton ko p ang paper then I can make my PPT then recording on Zoom. So ang AAS n lng maoy huwaton Lord kung unsay gawas. Meantime, ngita ko ug online work lagi aron naa japon koy makwarta while waiting or working on what I want as an academic. GILAS CLASSIFICATION

Since wala man jud lagi silay nadaugan sa ilang group games, Gilas will now join the rest of the teams daw in the classification round for the Paris Olympics in 2024. So they will go up against South Sudan daw tonight 8/31/23 and Puerto Rico on 9/2/23. All the best nila always! Btw grabeng pangisog ni Snow Badua oi of SpinPH kay bokya lagi tawn ang mga Gilas this time. Wa jud tawn sila kaarte sa Dominican Republic, Angola ug Italy. Nindut ra silas sugod lagi but then maapsan or malubong nas 3rd or 4th quarter. Wa may team chemistry due to injuries. Maganda n sana lagi kuno ang balasa ng games schedule nila. Dominicana first then Angola then Italy. Well, sad to say but they were not able to capitalize from it. There is a clamor for Chot Reyes to resign. My view is to build a national team and not put together guys from PBA etc. That formula just wouldn't work. National team is national team. So hopefully our country's showing will improve n jud in the next 5 to 10 years. Trabahuon jud n lagi. Amen!

IN BOHOL AGAIN

I am in Bohol again. Pwede n jud siguro ko makakita ug trabaho diri Lord kay nagclearance n man kos CDU lagi and tua n pud akong withdrawal papers sa CHED. I will visit Cebu n lng every now and then. Pangitaon pud lagi ko didto one way or the other. Tua pud koy balikon lagi nga TOR ni Cousin Gigi sa SWU mga September 11 cguro pohon and ipada p to naho nijas Canada lagi. I'm happy that someone appreciates my arrangement now of being able to shuttle between Cebu and Bohol. No need n man cguro ko moapply to teach in Hawaii oi. Iasa p man n lagi. But Ikaw nay bahala Lord kung asa ko Nimo gustong dad-on lagi. Mosunod ra ko po. Amen. Good night!

NOT ACCEPTED TO TFP

I did join the virtual Assessment Center (vAC) of Teach for the Philippines last Tuesday 8/29/23 morning from 8am to 12 noon. First group work then ang 2nd part kay individual teaching demo lagi of 10 minutes each candidate. Tua silay curveball oi nga concept. Hehehe. The next day I was informed that I wasn't accepted to proceed to the final interview. Sakto ra pud kay basin they were looking for someone younger. You can be assigned anywhere in the Philippines gud and the program is for 2 years so that you can make a difference lagi daw in the school that you'll join. It is not for me n jud cguro. After ko makarest, I will go back to the ChatGPT test pud. Basin p diay madawat ko ato lagi. But it seems boring man lagi oi. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng opportunities Lord. Basta kung asa ko madawat, mao n to lagi. If di ko madawat, it means na'kay laing ihatag naho lagi. Mosunod ras Kulasa po nga gor n hahaha ;)

MAHILUNA OR SETTLED

Sa kadugay nas panahon, my brother told me last January man cguro to that kung asa lng daw ko lagi mahiluna. Salamat sa support Dong. Love jud kos akong brother bujag; he's my only brother in the world pud. Uncle Linus Aloysius, my friend from the UK who I met during a pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes back in July to August 2001 once said that I have a very supportive and very united family lagi daw.
