DEDICATION AND DETERMINATION

My good friend Mam Marivel Mangaluz told me that I have dedication daw and determination as a person and as a teacher. Daghang salamat Mam. It reminded me of what Edward Venuti said about me - that I work hard daw and I have many talents. Bujag pud oi. I just do my best lng jud in what I do. Cge po and go go go! MARCH 20, 2024 WEDNESDAY

Thanks be to God, nahuman jud kos ahong clearance lagi today. I returned the 4 books sa library. And I have a meeting this afternoon at 230 to 330 pm with NASEEA and webinar about imported grains at 3pm. Nagbusy n lng ko with my MS Teams for next term. Ahong gikopya ang ahong official schedule from Sir Ron aron maencode sa NUIS pohon once klaro n. Gilibre diay ko today ni Mam Marivel Mangaluz ug lunch sa canteen. She was wearing a floral dress; ako pud ahong gisul-ot ang blouse from Mam Brenda nga naay blue and white. So nagterno mi nga wa damha. Nag Annual Physical Exam (APE) diay sila mga regular employees; kami next year n pohon. Then si Sir JC gave me the materials for Purposive Communication (PurCom) next term nga one subject naho so I got to see kung unsay format lagis ilang syllabus and course materials daw. Sus, mao daw toy gamiton lagi so that ig abot sa CHED, di n ko maglisud ug edit. I will work on the syllabus pohon ig weekend cguro. Nag edit p kos mga PPT naho for next term pohon. Last n lng. Si Sir Farlan gave me a pack of butter toast (biscocho) in exchange for the bronze paper clip and small notepad that I gave him. Tua man nija ang space lagi ni Doc Regz so duol n mi lagi. Si Mam Ruth Varilla n pud ang ahong barkada ron lagi. Mam Mika would always be my friend but she has Chemistry subjects man gud. Maong si Mam Ruth n lng who is teaching NSTP and Research daw with SBA pohon. Nag-abot sila Mam Felina Mar this term. They were classmates daw diay oi sa Baliwag University. Two ra daw sila nga AB English students. Mora jud ug Amerikana mosulti si Mam Felina lagi; made me think of USA or something. Go go go po and welcome to NU Baliwag full time! :)

NO INTERNET IN NUB

Y'day 3/1/24 and today 3/19/24 wala mi klaro internet lagis opisina. But today nakaconnect ra bja pud kos SM Free Wifi ug sa NUB-AP maong nakapaprint kos ahong clearance ug submitted grades sa NUIS. And today nagsugod n pud ko ug papirma sa ahong clearance lagi. Wow, morag tua koy backpay coz Instructor 2 jud diay daw ahong rank per Sir Chuckee Gatchalian. So I will give him a little token if na'koy backpay lagi. Go go go Doki, aloha! :) Uy, si Mam Ruth Varilla said Instructor 4 daw siya diay nga wala p gani kuno sijay Master's degree. Basin Associate or Assistant Professor daw ko. Well, kung unsa lng jud akong maabot lagi Lord. Cge po. I will just use whatever money I would get to buy a ticket to Hawaii or asa b. Today is the last day of encoding of final grades for the previous term: Term 2 from November 2023 to March 2024. Sa kalooy ni Lord, nakahuman ra ko lagi. Tua lng koy mga gipaabot coz mag exam p sila or makeup. But nakahuman ra jud lagi ko Lord. Daghang salamat po and aloha weekend. All praise and glory be to You. Amen!

PART-TIME

Uy, mag part time n lng kuno siya ug teach next sem pohon. Cge po, I wish you all the best. Aloha! Ako naman ay magtuturo ng full time next term. I will have Ethics daw then Art App or Purposive Communication then Public Econ. Go go go Doki, kayang kaya yan! :)

BOYET IN DEPT OF FINANCE

I heard from him late last year. He said he is with the Department of Finance kuno in Metro Manila. So it must mean nga nauli n siya from his PhD stint in Belgium. He must be waiting for that degree because morag daku2 pud to nga sakripisyo on his part lagi. Go Boyet! Last night my beloved Lola Gonda featured in my dream. Nalipay kuno sija nga nakakita ni Bantil nga nigawas sa simbahan. After that, askil kuno sija kaju nga nitan-aw sa mga isda sa pond. Then this morning sa carenderia, nakakita ko ug sign pen ilawom sa table nga adto ta ko molingkod lagi. It means my dad supports my plans.. Go go go Doki, aloha! :)

TAMPOHAY SA REUNION

This morning 3/9/24 I talked to Ronnie Batausa Montilde. He said he was able to negotiate a price of P160 sa t-shirt inclusive of printing. And with matching tarpaulin p daw n sa stage ug sa gate. So wow, morag madajon n jud lagi mi ani pohon. Salamat po Lord! Then we agreed nga P300 lng ang minimum nga amotan pohon; P200 sa di n gusto mokuha sa t-shirt. Then si Dr Crispin Montilde suggested about the election of officers and by-laws lagi kunos clan. So gibutang pud n nahos tentative program. Kanang P300 pohon maoy igoon sa lunch and snack plus prizes and all that. Maigo ra lagi n pohon. Ang ahong tampo will be the t-shirts for the coordinating committee. Aho ng paliton sa Manila lagi pohon then paprintahan ni Ai-ai Cabangbang. Kay ikog pud ko if di ko paprinta nija nga aho raba sijang gikara2 sa t-shirt design lagi. VISAYAS

I'm sure nabuang tos Dr Zeynep Kasli sa ahong application about the Bulgaria ancient citizenship research. Makaingon jud siguro sija ug puros bravado lng ning bajeha. Hehehe. Anyway, Visayas Culture and Heritage n pohon ang among panel sa SPAFACON 2024 coz diha may submissions lagi about Antique. So more or less 6 n mis among panel nga molast daw ug 1.5 hours. Tua nas Mam Lorylie Crisostomo, mobook n jud siguro to sija'g ticket today. Coz I told her optional n ang passport information sa booking. But xempre ig larga nimo, need jud ipakita lagi ang imong passport. Go go go Doki, aloha! :)

50 YEARS OLD

Si Mam Joyce Chiu Potot was 50 yrs old diay when she went to Canada. So naa p lagi japon diay koy chance. Xempre, kung mao jud ahong gusto lagi; then I will do everything in my power so that it will become a reality. Ibless ra man pud ta ni Lord. Coz we shouldn't be afraid of sacrifice gud daw dapat ug ni Fr Imported p from San Antonio, Texas. Go go go Doki!

ALISA HS GRADUATION

She graduated diay from high school maong tua silas Mike and Flori Ann didto. Wala n man mi mag exchange ug emails since mga 2022 cguro; gihaguan n siguro sija. Cge po, congratulations to the family and go go go! ;)

COSTA MESA ECONOMICS TEACHER - WALA DAW

I saw this vacancy last February 28 but wa naho gidajon ang application lagi kay taas kaju. Today I received email asking me to finish it. So I did. Ahong gitiwas oi and hopefully madawat lagi. If maoy plano ni Lord lagi. Wow, kanice no? I pray for the best Lord. They replied already. Wala daw ko nadawat. So naay planong lain si Lord for me. Go go go Doki and aloha! :)

TO WAIT FOR

Now I have four things to wait for: ang sessions sa Bangkok conference in June pohon, ang resulta sa NCCA international travel grant application, ang East West Center two-day writing workshop in May ug kadtong AAS council elections. Go go go Doki, aloha! :)

SPAFACON SIGN

Today 2/29/24 when I opened my Messenger, I saw Mam Marinelle's msg about the SPAFA Con in Bangkok in June pohon. I took it as a sign that madajon jud siguro lagi ko pohon. Pero naukay jud lagi tanan today kay nangdeduct ang HR sa among absences or late kuno. When I checked the record, isa ra juy nasakto. Nga wala koy out pag February 2 afternoon so gideductan ko ug 2 hours from 3 to 5pm. Ang February 5 5 to 7pm ug February 12 5 to 7 pm nga iyang ingon nga wa kuno koy time in and out. Di jud to tinuod lagi. So go go go Heideliza; you will get there in time ra. Amen!
