DENIM AND DIAMONDS, 7/26/24

Last night we had our gala dinner with the theme Denim and Diamonds. They recalled how our campus has grown from 700 students daw in 2020 to about 4,700 students today. They gave us a glass cup with straw as token in it. Then this morning was the Amazing Race and this afternoon daw That's my Star by SEAS. I had a chat with Mam Liwayway who is now the Principal of Senior High School. I told her I will be going to the USA this November pohon. She said basin mao n daw lagi makakapagpabago sa buhay mo. Mao jud. I came in this morning at 0638 and I worked on my Delaware PPT and also on my Digital Technology paper. We started this week with a mass for our 4th Founding Anniversary, Monday 7/22/24. Then Tuesday 7/23/24 I had my interview with UP Tricollege Program. I would eventually be declined admission. Then bus lng ko overnight from New York to Toronto in order to visit friends pud didto. Okay man si Rica Sierras nga didto ko pujo sa ijang place. Check n ko ETA, 99 USD pud bayad. But valid for 5 years lagi daw diay so I can come to Canada daw for as long as I want within that time. Hay Doki; all at the right time jud lagi. Aloha! This afternoon, 7/17/24 I was able to submit for the GDN Research Grant thing. Si Daniel Fussy also asked me for the CVs of the research team members. Doc Ryan Dayao gave his support man so I was able to submit it jud in time. July 19 p actually deadline. Then ang among panel for Holland unta. Mao n lng pud among gisubmit sa UP Asian Center Dialogo lagi nga international conference. July 22 pud deadline ato. As is ra ang 4 papers, swak ra man sa migration theme. Ang sequence lng ahong giusab this time: Sir John Ouano, Mam Lorylie Crisostomo, Doc Erese then Mam Rosie Mendoza. Morag lucky charms man naho lagi sila Sir John and Mam Lorylie. So go go go! I met him during the SEAMEO SPAFA annual conference in Bangkok, Thailand last June. He works for Sensys in Germany. So far in touch ra man pud mi via email. Y'day 7/12/24 I was able to submit my documents for the PhD Philippine Studies program sa UPD. Daghan jamo, tua pay GWA computation lagi. I resolved to bring an extra panty ug nappies n jud sa school always. But anyway, again I was able to submit them via LBC, paid P160.00 and today or sa Monday cguro madawat n to nila. Today 7/13/24 I was able to pay the application fee via Gcash (P100 plus P20 charge) and I also finished the WFH report and the GDN Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Doing Research project. Sus, India, Cambodia and Laos oi ang himuan ug evaluation lagi pohon sa ilang Social Science Research Systems. I pray for the best. I gave him the 2 remaining NU tumblers pud plus the macapuno and keychain pasalubongs from Bataan. Told him palitan ra naho sija ug NU jacket pohon. I bought him an NU t-shirt and cap man for his birthday. He said mamora n kuno sijag si Lordy Tugade diay kuno pohon nga taga NU. Hehehe. MORONG, BATAAN OUTING

On 7/4/24 & 7/5/24 we had our teambuilding activity sa SEAS. We were at Water Haven Resort in Morong, Bataan. Sus lagpas SBMA p man tawn to oi. Overnight mi didto. Van 1 ko, we left at around 9am and we arrived there mga 2pm. Coz we stopped by SM San Fernando p man for lunch. I was on the same room as Mam Brenda and Mam Sheila Soliano and Mam Felina. Sila Ma'am Mika, Mam Christine and Sir JC nag-ipon n lng sa isa k room. I just brought my overnight stuff. Daghang salamat po Lord for a very nice trip. Di puti ang bas didto but nindut ra pud ang dagat. Amen po!
