PHISO Visayas Core Group

Yesterday we were at the USC Dingman Hall in Main Campus to attend the Pre-Conference for the 2019 PHISO conference in the same venue. Apparently, there were people from other schools in Cebu plus from Iloilo and Dumaguete (SU) coz they were thinking of a Visayas Core Group. Sus apil mi didto so apil na jud mi. It's okay, at least naay padulngan among efforts for our program. Jia you Doki, just keep going. You will get ur own share of whatever it is. Heheh.

Paranoia, MM

It suddenly came to me this morning that Ms Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex might be eliminated if she ever gets out of hand. This is what happened to Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997. She was dating Dodi Al Fayed; he is Egyptian, it was even said that he bought the ring already and planned to propose in Paris when they were killed in a car crash there. Hala ka Prince Harry, you have to protect her all the time jud. All the time. God bless us all! :)

Trip to the North - Pangasinan and La Union

Human na amo trip to the north with my sisters and nephews. It happened last 16 to 19 May, 2018. First we came in via Clark International Airport in Pampanga. Then from Clark we took a taxi to Dau bus terminal. Didto na mi nagkita ni Bantil, my 3rd sister. Then we took a bus to Alaminos, Pangasinan for the Hundred Islands tour. Nahuman mi didto around lunchtime. From there we took a bus to Dagupan, Pangasinan. We stayed in Callejon St, near University of Luzon. Homestay to nga arrangement. Then we went to Citymall in Mayombo for dinner. Giuwan mi didto. But overall, it was a very fruitful and busy day. Next day we went to Our Lady of Manaoag then the grapes farm in La Union. Pagkainit na mn ug pagkalayo sa among gibyahe. But sulit ra japon. Kaon japon mi halo2 sa Chowking pagbalik sa Dagupan. For dinner, our host fed us coz birthday mn sa iyang apo. Next day we went to the Sunflower Farm in Tayug, Pangasinan as our last stop. From there we took a bus in Sta. Maria Pangasinan to Dau, Pampanga. From Dau we took a shuttle to Clark International Airport. Delayed amo flight: from about 1am, 340am na mi nakagikan sa Clark so early morning na mi naabot sa Cebu. Overall it was a very good trip. Thanks to Bantil and Nang Anel for tour guiding us. God bless us all! ;)

Dumaguete's People

I can now attest that lahi jud ang taga-Dumaguete. Wa pa sila mocorrupt like how people are here in Cebu City. I lost my wallet mn gud last Friday night. I thought sa jeepney from Sibulan to Dumaguete. Coz I took out some change para plete namo ni Sir Butch. Nahulog mn ako tubig mao ako gipunit. La n ko kabantay sa ako purse. Then pag-adto na namos Chowking to order dinner, wala na ako wallet sa ako bag. Of course I panicked. I even had my LBP ATM blocked by Saturday morning. Then when I opened my FB, dihay nimessage. Ang driver diay intawn sa jeepney nga ako nasakyan. He said he had my wallet and told me to get it from him sa terminal in Robinson's Dumaguete. Wow, truly amazing! Around lunchtime last Saturday, 12 May 2018 I went to the said location. Ako pud cja gipalitan ug Jollibee Chickenjoy meal as reward. I am truly touched by Dumaguete's people. Indeed city of gentle (and wonderful) people jud cja and can be my 2nd home indeed. Jia you Doki. Enjoy ur time there always!

Ilocos Cancelled Na

Ako na lng gicancel ang trip to Ilocos. Kay mahal kaju nya laju lagi pud. Di n ko inclined moadto kay mosakit n mn lagi ako likod sa laju nga byahe. Sa Pangasinan n lng mi mangadto phn. Importante magamit amo ticket nya makarelax pud ko. Mao na ni aho summer outing bale. But we might still ask for Ilocos tour packages once tua na mis Dagupan. Basin pa diay mas barato na didto. Bisan one day in Ilocos ra gud mi. Okay ra mn pud ang King Henry's, nisugot ra mn pud sila nga sa May 17 na phn ang ako May 16 nga original reservation. God bless our trip phn. Cge Doki

Ayala Business Forum

I was tapped to be a reactant in the Ayala Business Forum yday May 2, 2018 at the City Sports Club, Cebu City. Main speaker si Dr Raul Fabella of UPSE. Si Former Secretary Rene Almendras ang representative sa Ayala Corporation. My other co-reactants were Mr Espeleta from the business community and Mr Fernando Fajardo, my former colleague at USC. We were made to sit at the sofa pa jud on the stage and we fielded questions from the audience via sli.do. Wahh n lng jud. I thought magdeliver ra ko'g reaction. So, mao diay to feeling to speak in front of a large audience. Nya sa Ayala pa jud. Jia you Doki, hope kuhaon pa ka nila'g balik. If not, stick to the classroom n lng gud. Heheh.
