Today 9/27/22 I saw from the ISS community FB page a short-term housing consultancy from Rosalux in Metro Manila. Actually PH/MY/INA ang scope. For Philippines lang akong nasubmit. I worked on it right away coz Sept 30 at 8pm Phil. time daw ang closing date. Ang akong LDE housing proposal ra gud akong giedit and akong gipun-an ug gamay info to suit what they wanted. Wow, I feel good lagi about it Lord. Amen. Actually if makuha to nako, I will have money n to buy my air ticket to Hawaii pohon. JOSA

She is Maria Josephine Sanchez or Josa, a fellow ISS alumna. I met her during the SRHR refresher course in October 2011. She was working for an NGO then in Metro Manila. After a few years, I heard from her and she was in the Middle East n. Then during the lockdown she said she was out of job and that her brother is working here in Cebu. Then the next thing I knew, she was in California n daw. She said she worked for a victim center something. I am very happy to talk to her on Messenger this morning. She encouraged me jud. Baw lagi Josa oi. Lisud kaju ang sitwasyon lagi. May ma'g piso ra lagi ang magasto if moadtos Hawaii pohon. But I do pray for guidance always. And I do keep the faith. Aloha! Birthday baya ni ni Arvin Navarro, my former student and confidant with my lovelife. Sus kanice sa love story ni Tintin Bersola and Julius Babao. Their 2 kids are named after their 2 patron saints, St. Anthony and St. Padre Pio. Antonia/Anya ang girl nya Antonio/Nio ang boy. They would donate images daw of the 2 saints during the birthdays of their kids. Kacute sa ilang married or family life. Actually, I have to say that I became more prayerful pud this time. ME AT QS HIGHER ED SUMMIT AMERICAS

Last night 9/23/22 at 09.50 to 10.50 pm niair akong presentation in the above event. Last man diay akong presentation kay mubo ra mn pud. First tong sa university in Cairo, then sa India then me. I had to increase the volume p jud kay medyo hinay tong akong recording. Overall, I am very happy with how it all turned out. I'm now looking into the week next week pohon and my upcoming speaking engagement sa remittances conference by Leiden University in mid-October pohon. Mag-exam ra man ko this week sa akong IS klases and f2f sa akong Dent klases. How about ang thesis oi? Kaundangon n lagi ko ato. Good night!

UNWORTHY

I do have feelings of being unworthy jud. Nagsugod jud ni tanan of course sa bay. Kay di mn lagi ko domestic goddess maong I thought di ko worthy nga mahimong wife or unsa b n diha. Pun-an p lagi nga ingnon ka'g crazy Filipina, impoverished academic, way kwarta ug uban p. Syempre, kinsa p may motake a chance di b? But I do need to overcome all these demons jud. GOODBYE, QUEEN ELIZABETH II

On September 19th 2022, the late Queen Elizabeth II was buried. So many dignitaries and world leaders were there including Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands with former Queen Beatrix. For Denmark it was Crown Prince Frederick who went along with his mother Queen Margrethe. For Sweden it was King Gustav and diha pud si King Harald of Norway. Taasas prusisyon lagi oi thru the streets of London involving the military. It will be a new era jud with King Charles III as the new monarch. God bless the United Kingdom, God bless the King! :)

This will be my first international speaking engagement and virtual p jud lagi. At a QS Higher Education Summit in Brazil next week pohon. Sus, I received a message from Dr. Matthew Hoye this morning when I opened my email. He gave us the initial conference programme for the remittances conference in mid-October. So 2 diay akong international conferences this time? OMG, ing ana k maayo si Lord nako. Amen! Mao diayng virtual ra akong participation kay hurot ang budget sa CDU lagi if moadto ko. Heheh. Di n jud kabalibad lagis Dean ani pohon if moask ko ug funding next year to attend an international conference in person. And for all these activities, makadawat jud cguro pud ko oi ug monetary incentive di b. Which means na'na koy kwarta Lord in order to go to Bangkok in January pohon. Piskan pud nahos Ate Ica xempre. And if kaigo p jud lagi akong money. I can visit Lava in Nepal or Preeti in Bangalore and possibly Deepti in Mumbai pohon. If madayon kos Bangalore pohon, I'll msg Fr. After I talked to Preeti on WhatsApp last Saturday 9/10/22 evening, I thought of a reunion in BKK in January. She said di daw sya sure kay she would have family visiting daw. But we'll see daw ig December pohon kung unsa. Si Teacher Zaii pud said she can't make it coz she's taking care of her father in law kuno. Salamat kaayo. Btw I said sorry to him oi. GOD SAVE THE KING

Namatay man si Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom last Thursday Sept. 8 didtos UK. So si Prince Charles is now King Charles III and si Prince William is the new Prince of Wales, making his wife Catherine the new Princess of Wales. 40 yrs old n daw si Prince William diay; he has 3 children. The surprise for today is Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joining William and Kate in greeting the crowds at Windsor Castle. Pastilan jud ning mga Briton lagi. Diha man toy rift lagi between William and Harry following the Oprah interview. Diha gud sa taliwa ni William and Harry si cousin nila Mark Tindall during the funeral of Prince Phillip of Edinburgh in September last year. Well, family is family. So all's well that ends well. This is a very nice romantic movie that I have a video CD of. One of the memorable lines from this movie is 'love that you cross oceans for and leave loved ones behind. You only need the courage'. About courage, I also remember the Filipina who married a Faroese man who she met while working at a hotel daw in Turkey. The documentary said she packed up her courage and move to Faroe Islands daw.. This time halos mga Pinay n mn lagi tanan ang tua didto coz molangyaw man daw ang mga Faroese women. Though diha toy Thai pud lagis documentary and sadly her Faroese husband divorced her. Anyway, si Mam Vilma jud lagi sauna told me that na'man gani kunoy nagminjo ug isla sa Alaska. 1st International Paper Presentation, Virtual P Jud

On 9/7/22 evening I received email that my paper was accepted for presentation at the QS Higher Education Summit for the Americas, https://qshesummits.com/americas/ later this month in Brazil. But virtual ra among participation so they just asked us for a pre-recorded video. I submitted one last Saturday 9/10/22 plus the paper that I read to the organizers. Heheh, it got returned coz of low quality of the recording daw. So I made another one and I think pasar n to. Sus, 1st international paper presentation p jud tawn lagi to naho and virtual p jud. It will be played daw on September 23 at 21.50 to 22.50 here in the Philippines, Brazil being 11 hours behind us here in Pinas. I hope for the best. Why Would He Keep Me as a Friend?

Ang ingon sa writeup nga akong nabasa is that, one way or the other, he feels good daw about himself having the girl around maong he keeps her, as if in a harem. Grrr. I deserve better than that no? I was talking to Mam Beth Visande last Saturday when I said I kept NUS as an option before because I wanted to leave USC man. Nasumpay siyas being kept as a friend lagi b. I asked this question from the Brit boy last time and his response was 'Don't go there, Heide'. But I said I want to go there. Nawa karong panahona, wala p jud lagi niya nabasa ang akong msg last early August about the proposed BKK trip in January pohon. In contrast ang isa kay gibasa n lagi niya akong msgs tawn oi last Friday 9/2/22 p at 18.00 per the Messenger clock. Even my msgs yday 9/11/22 in the afternoon.
