I had a video call with Natalia of Inter Nations Germany y'day. She ran me through the roles of the Ambassador for the Cebu City community. I committed to at least 6 months lang because I told her that in January I might go back to teaching full-time. But after the call, I thought again about it and decided nga di n lng mopadayon. Ako n lng sila gibalibaran sa email this morning 6/30/21. Coz tua p gud koy research lagi ug klase to mind. Wa n ko kaajuy oras ana if mag-ambassador p kos Inter Nations. So I said mag-active member n lng ko kaysa mag-ambassador p. Maybe in future but definitely not this time. Kasabot ra lagi to sila. Wa btaw ni bayad, voluntary ra jud ning tanan. Sayon ra bya unta ang role, mag-organize ra bya ug activity or event at least once a month. And it doesn't really have to involve a meal. Drinks ra jud daw and socialization. But then, need p mn gud ko manghinlo or manghipos sa among opisina kay magrenovate lagi daw. Magkita p mi nila Shelex ug Annabel phn. Then I have my NBA Finals games pud to watch. Daghana n lagis webinar nga akong giapilan this time nga pandemic. Coz my reasoning is maglisud mn jud ko'g attend ana nila when face to face n phn. Diha gud kaisa nga namahaw ko ug Malaysia's New Economic Policy kay taga Delaware mn ang speaker lagi. Then most webinars from Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in NUS I could join n pud. Then this NAFFRO from Taiwan/Japan I could join n pud. Basta, it's not just about economics ang mga webinars but also about media and culture, archaeology etc. Jia you Doki, maabot ra lagi k didto at the right time. I was thinking either Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan or Bangkok lng jud cguro ko phn postdoc. But all depends on God's plans. Amen.

PROJECT

I got a reply from Raymond of Canada who floated the idea of a film to be shot in Korea and elsewhere. I gave him my friend's email so that possibly makakuha siya ug referrals if he would not be interested or not available to do the project. I asked my former students pud if they would be interested in the project. Ako diay to silang balikan. Si BJE is interested. I forwarded her email na to the Canadian producer living in Seoul. I was thinking to go for the July 6th one kay late n kaju ang sa July 8 phn. Then I have a virtual conference n pud sa IHS on July 9 phn from 3 pm to 1230am here in Philippines. Due n pud mi for a Zoom meetup kay ang sabot sa batch 2k is once a year mn magmeetup online. And I have activities n pud with Inter Nations. Hahay, kabusy bas life. I still think that aayusin ni Lord ang lahat. Everything will fall into place ra lagi at the right time. I just need to hang on and trust God always. I would need to finish my thesis too. My friend from XU Gretchen Abuso pointed me to this Ask the Author session about her latest book. She just published a book man on the Philippine Revolution. It is entitled "Asian Place, Filipino Nation: A Global Intellectual History of the Philippine Revolution, 1887-1912". I like history man, I can always become an economic historian. All the best Doki! I received email from Inter Nations suggesting that I sign up as an ambassador. Ireview p daw ako application. 2013 pa diay ko nag-ambassador for Inter Nations Manila chapter but la ko mag-active didto. Y'day I was asked to call Dr Indab so I bought a TM SIM after watching Nam Shin and got a haircut na rin. Nagkaproblema mn sa akong load so I wasn't able to reach Dr. Indab. I will try again today. Nam Shin - Are You Human?

This K drama series on Heart of Asia is about an AI robot. Nice ang iyang drama. 'Ang pagmamahal nya sa robot ay ang pagmamahal nya sa iyo' Coz the features of the robot were copied from the features of the human son man nga iyang namiss. I missed my mom more with this series. But of course I miss both parents everyday. Naa ra mn sila kanunay sa palibot, isang tawag ra mn sila buyag. Love love! :)

Yesterday June 14, 2021 I met my lone class in TCW with N1C for the first time. Sa Bongo mi. Today 6/15/21 sa Google Meet na coz daghan p daw ang walay access sa ilang Celo accounts. 38 mn cguro to ang niattend sa klas today. I gave them something to do so dili mi magmeet ugma phn. Sa Thursday n for their presentations. BTW I got a response n from my new adviser in SU. Talk daw mi ugma phn at 11am. I had a few things mn jud to clarify with her. Thank God for her speedy response. I am happy. Rica Sierras told me to drink peppermint tea aron wa n kunoy panuhot. I ordered from Shopee already. God bless us all! :)

I saw from Sandra Nijhof's post the vacancy for a faculty position at the City University of Hong Kong. Development Studies/Political Economy mn to ilang gipangita at the Department of Asian and International Studies. I applied for the position. CV ra may ilang gipaupload ug personal info. I heard on the news that by September 2021 daw phn morag okay na ang among vaccination. That means pwede na mangari ang mga Amerikano phn. Actually as of this time, Alert Level 3 mn daw ang Pilipinas sa Amerika along with other countries. But I'm sure di p n sila ganahan mangari kung gamay pas mga Pinoy ang nabakunahan. Hawaii and Rainbows

The way I am now, I would give everything just to do the Hawaii July 2019 trip all over again. But this time I would not want the mishap or drama that ruined that trip. Never again please. Cge lang Doki, everything will be okay at the right time jud. Amen.

I signed up for one class raba. One klas lng gud para makafocus kos ako thesis work. Jia you Doki! Today 6/9/21 dali2 lagi ko'g adto sa Wealthbank Pacific Mall to pay my water bill kay for disconnnection n mn gibutang. Morag 4 months bill n to natingub. May gani kay lugdong. Niarkila ra ko'g motor, padiretso sa Metro aron mobayad. Then on my way home I paid my Smart and Sun fone bills via BDO ATM sa Tabok. I bought slices of chicken and evap milk and cooked chicken curry with this Del Monte chicken curry mix for the first time. Heheh, never too late to learn anything. Good night! Naa Japon Chance

Today 6/7/21 was Game 7 of the 1st round series between LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks. Pildi man ang Mavericks so it will be the Clippers of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George et al who will face UTAH Jazz daw in the next round. So daku2 p diay japon chance nga sila machampion this year. The other pair if I am not mistaken is Suns with Devon Booker vs Denver Nuggets daw. Ang sa East kay sila Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving with Brooklyn Nets vs MILWAUKEE Bucks, sila Giannis Antetekounpo. The other pair is PHILADELPHIA 76ers Joel Embiid vs Atlanta Hawks. So by the looks of it, morag last week of June or early July na ang NBA Finals. Go go go!

Last 2 Weeks

Today 6/7/21 on Heart of Asia it was announced that last 2 weeks na ang Are You Human nga series. It stars Seo Kang Joon and Gong Seung Yeon. Robot2 ang istorya. Sad, but at least makakita ra cguro japon ko. I will just need to finish encoding my grades this week and work on my thesis then get ready for summer classes too by Monday phn. I watched the video last night of Byahe ni Drew in Seoul back in 2017. Didto ko nakahibaw aning sauna nga pastime diay kuno nila. In another video I learned that Seoul is a city surrounded by mountains diay kuno. Intawn. Then under military dictatorship diay kuno ang South Korea post-war till around 1990s. Paul's Kids

They are Alisa, Ryu and Ren. I even call Ren Mini Paul. Mike said I'm lucky that they can already speak English when I met them. Coz in the past hinapon ra mn jud ilang mahibaw-an lagi. I gave one peso each to them the last time we met in Hawaii. In July 2019. Exchange emails pud mi ni Alisa. She is in the Japanese school daw while tuas American school sila Ryu and Ren.
