VERY RICH

As is ironic in Philippine society. David Licauco who now plays a rebel in Maria Clara at Ibarra (MCI) book 2 (last 3 weeks) is actually a very rich man in real life. He was rich in Book 1 as Fidel de los Reyes y Maglipol, friend of Crisostomo Ibarra though. He's actually a scion of a business family. He was born daw in Tabaco, Albay to Jack and Eden Licauco. He has 3 sisters and a brother. He was approached daw while partying in Boracay if he wanted to go into showbusiness. He competed actually in Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2014 (hosted by Kim Chiu and Gretchen Ho) and he won first runner up. He doesn't mind exposing his upper chest on his Instagram considering that he is a gym rat. In the first part of MCI, he played a rich friend of Crisostomo Ibarra. But again the story is now in season 2 in which he plays a rebel after understanding and embracing the causes being fought for by his good friend. Latest part of the story - He stands to see Klay, his love interest in Book 1, played by Barbie Forteza. She was jailed for not having a cedula. Will they rescue her from the cuartel? I think so and they will see each other again. Hay char, kilig ilang love story! :) But how will the drama series end? Malagim man diay ang El Filibusterismo oi.
