Late last year I heard of this plan to move Indonesia's capital city from Jakarta to somewhere in the jungle in East Kalimantan, Borneo Island. They will call it Nusantara daw and it's planned to open in 2024. In a webinar by ISEAS about it on 3/8/22 at 10am, I asked jud what factors contributed to the decision to move the capital city to so many kilometers away and in the jungle at that.
