HULA KAHIKO and HULA AUANA

Today I learned that there are 2 kinds of hula diay: the modern and the old one. Modern hula is hula auana while old hula is hula kahiko. It is the latter that is having a competition today at the 60th Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawaii, USA. Ugma pohon n pud ang hula auana lagi. So far my top bets for the girls were the one from Hilo and from Washington. I dunno n for the boys. All the best to us always. Aloha weekend! ;)
